We at Space Cooperative Europe (SCE) are thrilled to announce our partnership with AQUATY to streamline investments in space-related startups!
Founded in Munich in 2020, SCE is dedicated to funding innovative space initiatives. With the leadership of Markus Häuser, Emmanuel Mondon, and our committed team, we aim to create a robust ecosystem that connects companies, universities, and public institutions to boost the space industry.
Through this partnership, investors can now invest in startups curated by the European Space Agency – ESA with minimal legal and regulatory hassle.
AQUATY’s platform fully digitizes the investment process, making it seamless and efficient. Investors can co-invest, follow-on, and manage secondary transactions under one special purpose vehicle, eliminating the need to set up separate entities for each investment.
This collaboration allows AQUATY and SCE to support cross-border and transnational activities, encouraging consortia to enter the space market or compete with larger players. Our shared goal is to make private market investments as efficient and accessible as public markets, including startups in the space industry.
AQUATY’s platform supports SCE throughout the entire investment lifecycle, from initial startup evaluation to fully digital transaction settlement. It also enables sharing deal flow with current or prospective limited partners and includes a comprehensive portfolio and reporting tool for syndicate and angel club leaders. This promotes collaboration and tracks investments efficiently.
