the protection of your personal data very seriously. Your
personal data – insofar as they are collected / processed at all
(see below) – are confidential and in accordance with the
applicable data protection regulations, in particular the EU
General Data Protection Regulation (“DS-GVO”) and the German
Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) current version, as well as
this privacy statement. Personal data includes e.g. name, IP
address, mailing address or e-mail address.

2. Data collection and obtaining consent
If you use our website for informational purposes only, we
only collect the personal data your browser automatically sends
to us. This information is stored in a safe instance belonging
to our company Space Cooperative Europe SCE on a server located
at Paris, France and hosted by alwaysdata (https://www.alwaysdata.com/en/ ).
The stored information are: browser type and browser version,
operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing
computer, date and time of the server request and IP address.
This data is not merged with other data sources. When you view
our website https://spacecoop.eu/ ,
we collect the aforementioned information that is technically
necessary for us to display our website and to ensure its
stability and safety. A visit to the website without this data
collection is not possible. The basis for this data processing
is Article 6 (1) (f) of the DS-GVO, which allows the processing
of data to fulfill a contract or precontractual measures.
By filling out our contact form, you share private information
with us that will allow us to know you better and to contact you
promptly for interest in common. Personal data that you provide
to us on the basis of our contact details given on this website
(eg your name, address or e-mail address), will only be used for
correspondence with you, and for the purpose for which you have
made available the data to us. The processing of this data is
therefore based exclusively on your consent (Article 6 (1) (a)
of the DS-GVO). This information is also stored in a safe

We will not send you massive promotional emails or SPAM because
it is not our purpose. For those who explicitly decide to be
part of the SCE2 Community using Startin’blox technology, your
personal data could be edited or deleted at any time but also
you could decide to make visible or not these data to other
users, depending on how much information you want to reveal to
other members of the community.

delete the personal data reported as soon as you wish, by

In the future we will have a system that will allow you to
delete your personal data directly without needing us. Our goal
is to enhance our GDPR transparency as soon as possible. Note
that your data will be registered following W3C Solid open
specifications (https://github.com/solid/specification )
i.e. mean interoperability across a broad ecosystem. Just like
the web, Solid - a technology for organizing data, applications,
and identities on the web - contributes to support seamless
access, use, re-use of data and trust of data sources.
We use anonymous data for statistical purposes via Matomo but we
do not intend to relate to your personal profile the statistical
cookies because it is not our purpose or interest. We like the
GDPR and want to respect these new rules about personal data.
2. Notification of database violation in due time
In the event of a vulnerability in our contact database, we
will inform you within 72 hours. In any case, your data is
registered in an encrypted way, which avoids an intrusion and
theft of data from our database.
3. Your rights
If you wish, we can provide you with the details of the data
that we are recording, including its origin and recipients as
well as the purpose of the data processing free of charge. In
any case, we do not record any additional data other than that
reported by you.
You also have a right to request the correction, blocking or
deletion of this data. You also have a right to restrict
processing, opposite to processing and to data transmission. If
processing is based on your consent, you have the right to
revoke it with effect for the future. Furthermore, you have a
right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority. For the
rights in detail cf. Art. 15 et seq. DS-GVO and the following:
Right to information: the effected person has the right
at any time to ask for confirmation without reservation as to
whether personal data relating to him / her are being processed;
if that is the case, it has the right to obtain information
about such personal data, as well as the other information
referred to in Article 15 of the DS-GVO (i.a. the purposes of
processing, the categories of personal data being processed, the
recipients or categories of recipients of the data; the intended
duration of storage; the right to rectify, delete or restrict
processing or a right of opposition; the existence of a right of
appeal to a supervisory authority; all available information on
the source of the data; the existence of automated
decision-making). – The responsible person provides a copy of
the personal data that is the subject of the processing. For all
other copies requested by the data subject, the person
responsible may demand reasonable remuneration based on the
administrative costs. If the responsible person files the
application electronically, the information shall be provided in
a standard electronic format unless otherwise indicated.
Right to correct data: If the personal data are or become
incorrect or incomplete, the data subject has a right to
immediate correction and supplementation. If required by law,
the responsible also informs third parties about this

request the immediate deletion of personal data if any of the
reasons provided for in the DS-GVO (in particular Article 17
(1)) exist, unless the processing of their data is necessary to
fulfill a legal obligation or is required to assert, exercise or

your data handed over that we process on the basis of your
consent or in fulfillment of a contract, to yourself or to a
third party in a standard, machine-readable format.
Right of appeal to the supervisory authority: You are
entitled – without prejudice to any other administrative or
judicial remedy – to submit a complaint to a supervisory
authority if you believe that the processing of your personal
data violates the DS-GVO (Art. 77 DS-GVO) , You may assert this
right with a supervisory authority in the Member State (of
Europe) of your place of residence, your place of work or the

Our company has just been formed and is not required to appoint
a dedicated data protection officer at this time (Sec. 38 para.
